描述
This is my attempt at improving the glass in the game. It's based on the files located here: http://gamebanana.com/textures/4062

This custom material adds a nice refraction effect to the glass.
I then modified the stripey normalmap, by blurring it a lot, to make it more realistic.

I've spent the past hour or so trying to get the same effect to work on the cracked/shattered glass, but I haven't had any luck so far.

No noticeable FPS drops so far.

it makes everything that's behind the glass look dark on my end

This mod is great but for whatever reason it seems to cause reflection problems on non destructible pieces of glass.

Question, what does the min_glass.vmt file do for this mod? Trying to convert it for another mod for personal use.

I haven't noticed any significant drops. Also Screenshots will be up soon.

You should update the screenshots when you make major changes. Just a suggestion. Also, regarding textures.. I'm not sure how they are implemented on glass.. you can check the steam wiki and look up texture modes and surface properties and such. That's what led to my hack and slash code. Also, I'm not sure if it impacts peformance or not so tell people buyer beware.
