Era - 1990s - NJPW

One of the most innovative wrestlers in history, and a candidate for the greatest junior heavyweight in New Japan's lineage, Jushin Thunder Liger was, not unlike the great Tiger Mask, an animated superhero come to life.

Liger was the first to use the Shooting Star Press. His mix of high flying attacks, dangerous palm strikes, lucha style submissions and an array of powerbombs and brainbusters gave Liger a dizzying variety of ways to finish an opponent.
