This is my attempt to make a Basestar, it took me about 6-8 hours. I didn't make it too big because it would make it hard to control it's 85 meters long, the proportions are the same as in the show. The diagonal wings were imposible to make as smooth as the front and rear ones, so i made what i could with what i had.

Hull made of trinium to make it lighter and the rest (except inertia dampeners which are made of iron) are made of Xanion as it is the last easily obtainable ore.

There are fighter pods, 4 of them, they might be a bit oversized compared to a "real" basestar, but need to be like that to be able to house a decent amount of fighters.

It's a pretty fast ship, medium manuoverability.

@123 basestars never had shielding in the series, I don't see why the need is there; Granted, because it's Avorion, no one is stopping you. Just bringing up the fact that the series never had shielding to begin with.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate this work of art and the hours you spent building it but saying there's no need to update it damn bro, it doesn't even have shields lol

I see no need on updating it, if someone wants to make and updated version based on this foundation you have my blessing, just mention the source and all good.

Will have a look on them, I've alrady been considering TOS Basestar, if the tanker is easy enough probably will do it before the Bs. My rythm of work is slow tho, only play when i want to.

Love it. Ever consider Galactica TOS Cylon Tanker or BaseStar? We have yet to have any really good uploads of them, yet.
