描述
Bottom of the Well - Beginner Player Housing in Whiterun.

Hello everyone! This is my first mod, I hope you all enjoy it.

Features:
Safe storage x4, Bed Roll, Torchbug in a Jar, Gold Coins courtesy of the wishful denizens of Whiterun.
This is locked at all times and requires key, which you can find sitting just on the ledge of the well above the trap door. (If key is missing just reload your game, it should be there)
All containers are safe storage - Except the 3 respawning Grocery Sacks all next to each other.

*Bugs: Due to the small space and design of the Well shaft, if you're in third person alot you may want to zoom in closer to your character as panning the camera bounces off the beams on the side, which I found slightly annoying. *The Gold Coins were intended to respawn but right now I can't figure it out, so if you like them leave them laying about.
*This mod will likely conflict with any mods changing the layout of Whiterun, such as 'Better Whiterun'

Note: some of the features in the videos are not in this base mod, and are only available in the Nexus version. (Argonian, Key, Miniatures) This file on steam wasn't updated because had it been automatically downloaded to people containers would have reset. You can get the full mod on skyrim.nexus and it's under 2mb so you don't have to be a member to download.

I went into Creation Kit and could not find the key. It wasn't anywhere in the Whiterun Market cell, and there was no key in the list of all existing Keys in the game. Furthermore, I saw no link ref links between the doors for them to propperly work, despite the door clearly saying in game that it leads to bottom of the well.

As it's been a while since I've played with doors, I am not yet prepared to look into what I need to do to fix this mod to get it to work for me.

Man, there is a problem about your mod. First, there is no key on the ledge of the well. Second, when I save my game when I in the well, I can't load my game and it will just stop and freezing on loading screen. sorry for my bad english anyway.

I've read great things about this mod, but I couldn't even figure out how to get in. :steamsad: That said, the concept is excellent and I always thought it would be a great place for a get-away.

not to stop on your parade but i spent a week trapped down there (skyrim time) bfore i ran out of food and died (hunger mod)

I loved this mod, but upon relaunching skyrim, the entrance to the well is gone.

Was looking for mods to get for a new start in Skyrim. I deleted all my mods and I added some other ones for a different character. Because I do that, and when I saw this, I immediately subbed because this would be perfect for just starting out, and I don't really expect to be in here much, but for a roleplay type playstyle like I am going for, I am playing through the story on my Xbox an I am using PC for rp playstyles and such. Thank you so much for making this.

Not sure why, but the key is NEVER there in my game. I reload over and over, and nothing. it forces me to pick the lock every time.
