Beautiful Articulated Bus For Your City



Originally devised by outstandinggamer, the NewFlyer XD60 is the one of the vehicles based on the Xcelsior platform, a modern adaptation to the classic American bus. This vehicle is articulated, allowing it to serve as a BRT vehicle, or more commonly in America, an express bus that’s not really a BRT. It is also well suited for high density lines.

What is different between this and the original version?

#1: Custom Livery Support!

#2: It's the same size as The MTA XD60, which is the real size. Also the illumination was corrected (turn signals, headlights all work now and are positioned correctly)

Use Improved Public Transport Mod to select buses for each line and change capacity!

Stats are the same as the default bus. Use Advanced Vehicle Options Mod to change it to fit your needs.

We have these in my city. I call them alien busses. They're awesome, but the models built after 2018 have hard seats.

This is a nice change to the non-"bendy" vanilla bus. Takes up to 60 passengers, twice as many as the base game bus, so it's great for busy routes. Thanks!

There is no way to make a trailer for a bus unless it is in the agriculture, oil, or ore trailer. I've talked with other creators about this, this is why the XT60 cannot become a trolleybus. If you look at other articulated buses on the workshop, you will also find the trailer is in one of those three categories.

@ninjanoobslayer - it's not the capacity, the trailer will move into the wrong category, this is the issue and confuses users. I am reading the m_service values and sorting by it in the AVO mod, but when category is wrong, it obviously moves to the wrong place. So no change possible, if I understand it ?

It's the only way to have trailers on buses. You should just set the capacity on the main bus, not the trailer.

@ninjanoobslayer, the trailer of the Bus spawns as a Oil-Processing/Industrial/IndustrialOil instead of PublicTransport/PublicTransportBus. Can you please check it ? The trailer of the Bus will be displayed wrong in AVO due to that.
