The messiah of the Mudokon race, Abe, known amongst others of his kind as "Stitch Lips", finds himself in a new sort of predicament, far removed from what he's been used to. He's been invited to the Fire Pro tournament, and offered top billing to be a wrestler in said competition, but instead opts to be a referee, not being one to back down from his pacifist ideals. In the back of his mind however, something feels amiss. Is this a ploy to lure Abe away from the hundreds of former Mudokon slaves he's saved throughout the course of his life, leaving them vulnerable?

Because of his wiry physical stature, Abe takes much longer than other refs to get back up if he's knocked down in the ring.
