This is the first Soviet electric multiple unit and also the first electric vehicle on the Soviet railways. This EMU was created in 1926 specially for Baku–Sabuntschi–Surachany line.

I figured it was something like that, thats the problem with the time period, tech was moving forward so fast that there was always something better just around the corner. Will have to play with the 4x MOD more often.

@NicoGTAF, hahah yep, it seems all 30's-60's EMUs has similar sound :)

@gordon861, unfortunately IRL was created only 14 motor wagons in 1926, so 6 years is so long for it... But soon here's will be available one of most mass produced soviet EMUs class S\SD\SV. They are produced from 1929 to 1958

Nice set of trains, but only being able to buy them for six years is a bit of a pain. I just went to upgrade my two carriages and found they are no longer available.

This train is so good looking it made me start a USSR themed save just to use it. With snow, rough terrain, russian city names and other details. The sound kinda reminds me of the old, centenary Belgian EMU's that were used in the oldest subway line of my city until not too long ago.

Finally some classic DMU, I wish you could paint it in the AM35 livery of the Belgian National railways, it would be absolute perfect. Which in fact it already is
