I wanted to create a pattern that had a futuristic vibe but with a military look. Disruptive patterns make it hard to see which direction something is facing or going. In WW2, the US Navy used disruptive patterns on their warships, which were a tactical advantage. With this pattern, I was attempting to do the same type of idea but with a sci-fi theme.
