Era - 1990s - AJPW

While Misawa, Kobashi, Kawada and Taue are considered the Four Kings of 90's era AJPW, Jun Akiyama was not far behind. As intense and innovative as any of his peers, Akiyama stood toe to toe with all time greats, and while he did not win the Triple Crown, he did put on some all time classics, and won gold in the tag division.
