In this day and age, the need for giant smokestacks isn't really needed. Instead, what you need is lots of giant silver cylinders with stripes on them and lots of flat roofs to be a true industrial building. To be quite honest, I have no idea what goes on in this place. Judging by it's rival, the Factory Barn, it appears that it's most likely a cover up to an evil corporate organization's secret base... At night, it's said that there's rampant gunfire and explosions occurring on the pavement of both the Factory Barn and the Machine Shop, and the only evidence of such mayhem is the massive amounts of hats left there.
