This is the living, breathing, ridable, tameable, metal devouring forge. It can be found roaming free in the wild but be sure to keep your eyes peeled because they are super rare!

Adding one of these little bad boys to your dino collection means you can do away with the bulky old encumbersome and resource reliant mechanical forges. This little beauty smelts while you farm, it doesn’t get much better than that.

Once you tame yourself a Forge Anky you’ll notice something that you don’t see on normal Ankys. You can level up crafting speed! This impacts how fast your Forge Anky can digest ore into ingots so be sure to add a few points, but not too many you’ll still need some weight and melee.

All this tummy rumbling smelting action takes its toll on a Forge Anky and you may find a few hot coals laying around. So keep an eye out on the ground and be sure not to step on a lump of cooling charcoal, or if you are hard up or that way inclined, pick them up. I mean they may need a bit of a clean but hey charcoal means gun powder and you can never have too much gun powder?

Now having one of these miraculous creatures tamed doesn’t come without cost, if you leave metal unattended in its belly for too long it has been known to have the occasional snack on your precious metal, but they will settle for a handful of berries if they aren’t permitted to indulge or there isn’t any available. Another notable concern would be farm at night time. Due to the sheer heat the digestive system of the Forge Anky produces they more often than not glow at night.
