描述
The Gladius is the backbone of the Andromeda Drive Yards fleet arm. Fast, heavily armed, and equipped with redundant systems, it can be a difficult ship to put down. While it does not have a laser point-defense system, this flaw has been corrected by supplementing the Gladus with the Spatha-class heavy destroyer.

Armament
2x ASM-3A Nova Missile Launchers, 500 missiles
12x AC-1D 60mm PD autocannons
4x MCR-3A PD Railguns
6x MCR-3D Anti-Ship Railguns
4x MCR-4A General Purpose Railguns

Defenses
Inner Hull: 52mm Ballistic Composite
Outer Hull: 500mm aerogel, 17mm General-Purpose Composite

Power Plant: 2x 100MW Reactors

Crew and Tonnage: 65 crew, 4,000 tons

Cost: 34.1 Mc

Other
Redundancy: The vessel has two reactors and crew compartments spaced some distance from each other to prevent a lucky strike from disabling the entire ship.

Very nice ship. It's fairly durable, it has good firepower and it's not ridiculously expensive or huge. Hats off to you.
