I take it it was meant to work like it did. After rereading the description and seeing your response i assume i did it correctly. In which case it was a success. I can see how much effort went into building it. Thanks.

Weird. OK. I just kept looking. Chambers too big and too dark (except that one that was too big and all white) but I found the exit.
