Original mod notes (1.4):

Having originally been on the brink of perfection, the alien race once known as the Enlightened let their ambition and hunger for true wisdom and power blind them.
With betrayals and events beyond mortal comprehension leading them down a path of desolation, they made one final mistake, leading to their fall, when the universe lost its most ancient race.
But from their ashes rose the Forsaken(s), a broken, decaying remnant of what was once a nigh-perfect spacefaring nation, now bathed in hatred and cosmic curses for the magnitude of their betrayal.
Now their fallen armies rise once again and march to reclaim what was once denied to them.

Forsaken raids come as baseliners

Not sure if intended or not but I killed 2 Forsaken and stripped them for their shield belts...only to witness my pawns to equip their cloaks. The sword was also equipable but the hoods were still only useable with the forsaken knowledge gene.

Forsakens are super rare when from vanilla expanded, as "Xenotype" in a faction, it's maybe 1% or so. After that already got incorporated into vanilla expanded, it would be cool if this mods created forsaken "faction" would also make the people belonging to it all "xenotype" forsaken - they have their own genes and all. But currently they are all baseliners, but with the forsaken looks from the old mod. Is there a chance this could come?

Just started playing again after a taking a break for a few years. Found my night aves, my nightlings and thunder rams,.. then realized the quest to go rescue a certain ancient never came up. So, I am glad to see, like so many other mods, you have kept this one alive as well!
