I'm surprised that now i'm playing 'galactic civilizations 2'. It's good so far. I've beaten the 'dread lords' campaign.

Also managed to kill off like 5 chrysallids, 2 drones and a berserker with one support squaddie today. It was pretty ridiculous though he only lived to be a corporal i think. I wanted to save him too. Basically i just used the grappling hook to get to the top of a truck and somehow the chrysallids couldn't get up there. I basically just stayed up there and shot everybody to death. I mean i may have even killed a muton as well with him before this all happened so i would only have to deal with melee guys that couldn't reach me. I could've sworn that chrysallids could jump on top of trains at least. Could've sworn they could get on the truck somehow. I still don't know how i won that mission considering i faced 2 cyberdiscs, a sectopod, probably some mutons and at least a berserker. I took a picture of the fight but i can't remember everything i faced. It was crazy though. Definitely a memory i'll save as by all rights i don't think i should've won that battle.

Updates hurray! Well i lost my entire experienced squad so i got pissed off and decided to just attack the alien base. I only lost 2 guys and it was a full team of squaddies. I fully expected them all to die. Thankfully 3 assaults, 1 heavy and 2 supports worked. An assault and a support died but it was worth it. The combat stims really boosted the survivability of all my guys. I fought like 1 sectopod, 4 drones, 3-5 armored floaters, 3 chrysallids, like 3 elite mutons, 3 normal mutons and a sectoid commander at the end. I've gotta say combat stims, smoke grenades and medkits saved me and still 2 guys died and one had one hp left.

Dude classic difficulty with iron man mode in xcom beat me again. I was doing absolutely fine and then when i get back to playing it's like all my odds are terrible, all my hit chances are terrible, enemies hit me from across the street or on the other side of a building through multiple objects and with me behind cover light or heavy. I even had guys which must've glitch shot me through a wall and i still don't get how that happened. This game is too much. I'm gonna take a break before a blood vessel pops in my eye from being so pissed off. All i have to say is mass mutons at 10 hp with instant kill guns that instant kill through cover, chrysallids and a freaking razordisk. I'm done perhaps till i can calm down at least. I may have to put this game on hiatus from time to time to maintain my composure.
