I am a big fan of the rougelike-roguelite genres of games. Always open to recommendations.
Some of my favorites:
- Risk of Rain 2 — The best "classic" rougelite game I've played. Great with friends.
- Noita — Most intricate and unique weapon system I've seen in any game.
- Slay the Spire and Downfall — A genre defining staple, and it's effective DLC.
- Enter the Gungeon — A tongue-in-cheek difficult game, full of niche references and dodge-rolls.

Great at outlining players in bullets. Not so much at hitting them.

Indie games are the heart of the industry.
