A game that dares to ask "What if Terry Pratchett played Disco Elysium?"

It's pretty cool, I'd love to see this game really blow up and get popular so that there can be just a bit more content, polish features etc

One of the best RPGs I've ever played. The story is full of pretty great twists and has an amazing villain. The whole game has a very somber atmosphere that you don't really see often. All of the companions tie into the main conflicts of the setting in a really interesting way, with each one showing off one aspect of why the country the game takes place in is in dissaray.

In addition, the combat in this game is pretty good. Out of all the games to use the real time with pause system (Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Pathfinder etc.) I found that this one was the easiest to understand, something that some other games in this genre don't really do too well. If I did have one complaint it would be that by the end of the game the dungeons and areas get a little TOO heavy on enemies.

I genuinely love this game and find it to be completely unique. Regardless of if you actually grew up with the era of the internet the game tries to replicate it still manages to be hilarious and fascinating, and there are some pretty cool side stories you can discover just by like, reading blogs. I also like how the game makes you feel like an absolute fun-hating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, really accurate to actual internet moderators

If there's one flaw about the game it's that some of the puzzles get REALLY obscure. A lot of the time the mystery-solving of the game is the best part, but there are definitely a few occasions where the solution is so obscure that you need to develop schizoprenia just to have any hope of solving it legitimately

Honest to god one of the best RPGs ever made imo, the game does a great job or making every little thing from pickpocketing to sharpening your weapon feel really engaging. The story is also surprisingly good though ends on a somewhat unsatisfactory note, it feels like the ending of a second act rather than the third. The world is absolutely great lookin and I love the focus on a small rural area as opposed to vast stretches of land or big medieval cities.

On a side note, the region from the game is quite literally real: it's the Kouřim region of Bohemia. If you look on google maps you can tell it's really faithfully recreated. Unfortunately I'm willing to bet that the locals there probably have to deal with some random-ass foreigners visiting their tiny villages every now and again spouting memes from the game, but I'm sure they don't mind

If that's somehow not enough for you the combat is really good as far as turn based stuff goes, though I do wish there were more variety in status ailments. The new city is huge, far bigger than anything in any other yakuza games. Party chat is a great addition that not only a good incentive for you to explore more but also makes the party already more memorable, which is impressive considering how lovable they all already are. Main villain is pretty interesting too.
