This is the only game I pre-ordered. I really enjoyed the previous Insurgency. 'll just go over some of the things that really bug me, but there are many other reviews that go over all kind of problems. In the beginning performance wasn't great but the game was more or less what I expected. Yes there are female active duty members, but it doesn't feel like they did it for more "realism" and just to be PC enough for 2018. Yes you can change and improve, but in the old game no one cared and now its in the game. Might as well add some ISIS sex slaves for the insurgents to have both genders and be "realistic" Some time ago they started adding weird customisation with the red and blue weapon skins as well as whack as character models. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy running around as a terrorist in sandals, but the whole gay ass nightstalker stuiff, what were they thinking? Yes I can just not buy them, but this isn't the game I bought and want to play. I was promised a military, somewhat "realistic" shooter. And what did we get in the last updates? Some whackass ♥♥♥♥♥♥ customisation that just further drifts away from what Insurgency once was. While I don't really play coop I hear from lots of people in the community that they are being treated like ♥♥♥♥. And to be fair, I believe them and am not surprised. When they finally released night maps, which were super fun, they decided to remove them from pvp, even after a playtest where people enjoyed them. WTF? At least leave it as an option in a separate playlist? Unfortunately decisions like these seem to be the general trend with Insurgency. Finally they introduced toggleable optics with the 1.9 update. After how many years? This should have been included when the game released. This game is still plagued with bugs, even 2 years after its release. With each update it seems like more and more bugs get introduced and it takes them ages to fix the existing ones. They keep messing with everything and keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up and moving the game further from what it once was and claimed to become. I am truly disappointed and won't buy future NWI products.
