Metal Gear Solid is one of the most influential games ever made, and even today it’s easy to see why. It’s packed with ambition — cinematic storytelling, strong voice acting, and tons of creative ideas that were way ahead of their time. The presentation and atmosphere make it feel like more than just a PS1 game; it feels like the blueprint for modern action games.

The gameplay itself holds up surprisingly well. Sneaking around, using gadgets, and figuring out guard patterns still feels satisfying. The stealth mechanics are simple, but they work — and the game rewards patience and awareness in a really engaging way.

Where MGS1 starts to stumble is in its second half. The pacing dips, and the boss fights start to drag things down. While some are clever, a lot of them feel clunky or awkward to play through, especially compared to how smooth the stealth sections feel. The jankiness of the controls and the limited camera don’t help either, making a few encounters more frustrating than fun.

Even with those flaws, Metal Gear Solid is a fascinating, creative, and genuinely important game. Its mix of cinematic storytelling and gameplay was revolutionary, and despite some rough spots, it’s still worth experiencing. A solid 7/10 — imperfect, but unforgettable.

Final Fantasy 9 is still the King! This game is worse and way less story heavy than 9.

Final Fantasy IX is more than just a game—it’s an experience that feels both nostalgic and fresh, no matter when you play it. From its unforgettable cast of characters to its sweeping world design, every moment feels carefully crafted to draw you in.

The story blends heart, humor, and heavier themes seamlessly, delivering an adventure that resonates long after the credits roll. The art direction, character designs, and music come together to create a warm, whimsical atmosphere that hides surprising depth. Nobuo Uematsu’s soundtrack is among his very best, carrying both emotional weight and a sense of wonder.

Gameplay is approachable yet rewarding, with a flexible ability system that makes progression satisfying without ever being overwhelming. The pacing balances exploration, battles, and narrative in a way that keeps you engaged at every step.

Even decades later, Final Fantasy IX stands tall as one of the greatest JRPGs ever made. Whether you’re new to the series or revisiting it, this game deserves your time.

A masterpiece that defines what makes Final Fantasy special. Highly recommended.

I went into REPO hoping for something fresh, but honestly it just feels like more of the same. At its core, it’s another proximity chat game that doesn’t do much to stand out. The premise might sound interesting on paper, but once you’re in the game it quickly becomes repetitive, predictable, and frankly boring.

One of the biggest issues is how familiar everything feels—if you’ve played any other proximity chat-based game before, you’ve essentially already played this. There’s nothing here that really pushes the genre forward or adds unique mechanics to make it memorable. Instead, it leans too heavily on the same formula we’ve seen dozens of times, which makes the experience blend in with the crowd instead of standing apart.

I can see how some players might still enjoy it if they’re new to the genre or just want a casual chat-driven game with friends, but for me, REPO just didn’t deliver. It lacked innovation, atmosphere, and any real reason to keep playing beyond the first session.

Verdict: Unless you’re brand new to proximity chat games, REPO probably isn’t worth your time.

Disney’s Chicken Little on PC is a charming time capsule from the mid-2000s, capturing the quirky humor and energetic style of the animated film while offering a surprisingly varied gameplay experience. The game doesn’t settle for being a simple movie tie-in; instead, it delivers platforming, racing, puzzle-solving, and even shooting sequences that keep each level feeling fresh. The whimsical environments and colorful graphics, though dated by today’s standards, exude a playful energy that perfectly matches the frantic personality of Chicken Little himself.

One of the game’s strongest points is its creativity in level design. Players might find themselves running through the bustling town of Oakey Oaks one moment, then piloting a spaceship the next. The variety ensures the adventure never grows stale, and younger players especially will appreciate the accessibility of its controls and objectives. Combined with a lively soundtrack and voice acting pulled straight from the film, the game nails the atmosphere of its source material while adding enough interactive charm to stand on its own.

That said, Chicken Little isn’t without its quirks—technical issues on modern PCs can make the experience frustrating without a few tweaks. But once you’ve patched things up, the game becomes an endearing reminder of when licensed titles were more ambitious than expected. It’s lighthearted, imaginative, and far more fun than it has any right to be. For fans of the movie or anyone who enjoys nostalgic platformers, Chicken Little remains a featherweight gem worth revisiting.
