I played the demo with friends and was so thoroughly impressed, I bought copies for all of us.

We spent twenty or so minutes trying to kill a specimen and then my friend just decided to blow the station up.

I've put a good amount of hours on my PS5 and Switch and I would recommend it. There is cross-progression so as long as you have a Super Animal World account, you can carry your stats and progress through multiple consoles.

One thing that I dislike about most of these free to play battle royale games is that they prey on the feeling of FOMO. There's a pressure to log in everyday and play through the battle pass for the season if you want to unlock all the prizes. However, with Super Animal Royale the previous battle passes gets archived and you can still progress through them unlocking prizes even after the season is over.

If you're considering this game, give it a shot. It's free and it's cute.

I bought this game to play EDH with my friend and haven't played it again, but hey it's cheaper than a pre-release.

Peak is one of those games with a very simple premise, but executed so well. My friends and I literally use this game to do our daily/weekly climb and yap.

The great thing about Peak is that you can play this as casually or as difficulty as you want. The devs gloriously put in a difficulty mode, Tenderfoot, which gives you unlimited time to climb the mountain which means I can spend as much time as I want finding coconuts to throw at my friends who are mid-climb, laugh, and then panic because I miscalculated and now they're plummeting to their death.

Or you can try to climb the Ascent ranks where each rank adds a new difficulty challenge such as climbing uses more stamina or you get hungrier faster.

The cosmetics and character models are also incredibly adorable and their emotes make for some great dance moves the next time you go dancing.

It's also only $7.99 USD for a full game. My coffee order costs more.

Repo costs less than a movie ticket, as of December 2025, and you can squeeze hours of laughter, mayhem, and fun into it.

However, what's not fun is respawning with one HP and the slightest bump of an item (literally) kills you and you spend the next ten to twenty minutes after you've already waited ten to twenty minutes to get revived again.

But also, the satisfaction when you finally have enough money to get a blicky and bring the fight to the monsters who you've been hiding from. You're the monster now.
