knew it was over when they started dropping skins before the game got out of EA. can't recommend the game right now, even at its current discounted price of $18usd (-40%). the devs, since acquiring their new pocketbooks (read: publishers), are absolutely flabbergasted at what's next for the game. Miles habitually dodges or flat out is unable to answer questions during their QnA segments as he legitimately has no foresight anymore. it's not because they hate their game, it's because they have shareholders who, as we all know, only care about the da moni. it's over man, and I kinda find it ironic because FunDog promoted this game as a slap in the face of comparable AAA games - and now look at them. hilarious.

tldr: game not worth unless 80% off or more. direction = out the window in favour of profitability

Another totally wrong review. SAD! Forever Winter is doing better than ever, people are loving it, and the team is making INCREDIBLE progress. The railgun? It’s fantastic, a total winner, everyone is saying it. Only the FAKE complainers think otherwise. As for DLC? Smart business, very smart. Gives players MORE, not less! Investors don’t control Fundog, Fundog controls Fundog. Believe me. This is going to be one of the greatest games of all time when 1.0 drops. Maybe the greatest! The haters will come back, they always do. ENJOY THE GAME!

Bro they said that the only thing they would charge for was skins and that they money would go to the art team. Maps, guns, charters and new content will be free. They said this a year ago when they released the game ffs did you not watch the dev blog video?

Crazy how someone can type an entire paragraph about something they kniw nothing about. How else do u expect people to support the game? its called "supporter packs" and do you know why?

Pay to win. No go. But pay for skins and cosmetics? Just don't buy them if you don't like it - has zero impact on gameplay and helps small developers continue projects - because if you didn't know - it's expensive to do.

the game is self-published. their original publisher was a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ crypto company named gala that they thankfully got away from.
