Bought it after the free weekend - a weekend i clocked around 40 hours in the game and ended up setting up my own dedicated server for friends. Great fun, and (used to be) great value for money.

Many of us like the Conan lore, and this game is (obviously) based upon that. Items, buildings, mobs, NPCs and everything is nicely fitted and works very well. I've been reluctant to play any sandbox games before, as it's not my type of game really, but this gave me a good taste for it.

A big minus - i had planned to buy this game for my wife, and maybe my son on my next paycheck so they could join me and my friends on my server - only to find out the week after that the price(s) had doubled. So i guess the "fame" from the free-weekend got into Funcom's heads. I do realise Funcom has to make money from their games, but in this case, they ended up with 0 sales where they could have gotten 2.

Content justifies old price, not the new one. Still recommend the game tho, it's hella fun!
