it's good. if you love the first game treat your self with this one

Journey is everything the name implies. a short Journey if you only plan on playing once but there IS replay value if you find it injoyable. if you unsure i would say buy it on sale if anything.

Well i have to go and take back my original review due to bungie making some big changes that i my self do not agree with and CAN NOT support.

Here the TL:DR for you lazy readers

TL:DR: Bungie is "vaulting" aka Removing older freer content and everything connected to it to make way for more paid content ALONG with making ALMOST ALL older weps and armor obsolete wasting everyone's time and resources, increasing the grind to get them back (if they do give them back) and regrind all over every 3-6 months.

The rest will about the nitty gritty of things.

What am ok with:

Cosmetic microtransactions? fine the game is free to play i can deal and understand that even if i don't like or care for them. you can even earn free ones form playing the game so it not that bad over all.

Season / battle pass? they have mini storys and events attached to them along with some nice stuff (even if the last two been a bit grindly and kind of mindless but hey the story for them had some nice world building so kind of makes up for it a bit) for 10$ ever three months.
well it better then some MMO's sub fees atlest but thats not saying much.

What am NOT ok with:

"Sunsetting" aka obsoleting all older wep and armor besides legendarys (for now) due to bungie not really know how to break a meta they don't want anymore. so whats the best idea? WASTE EVERYONES TIME AND MAKE THEM REGIND EVERY OTHER SEASON. and thats if you can get it back. for they also "vaulting" some weps to let the meta change and will reiusse them when they seem fit. so that whole vault of masterwork stuff you got? worthless next season now or two if you lucky.

Speaking of Vaults it time for the main issue.

The Destiny Content Vault (DCV) aka the removal older free content (Mars, Io, Titan, Mercury and Leviathan) for new paid content.
everything that connected said free content is also being taken with it. To give you a idea here is a list of everything big being removed:

- Tribute Hall removed (the closet thing we had to a trophy room AND testing range)
- Menagerie removed
- 4 out of 9 destinations (planets) removed
- 5 out of 7 raids removed
- 7 out of 17 strikes removed
- 12 out of 31 crucible maps removed (but map pool use olny use a smaller number depanding on the mode like breaktouth witch only uses 8 out of said 31)
- 2 out of 6 gambit maps removed
- 1 out of 2 special missions removed
- 3 out of 5 story campaigns removed
- 1 out of 2 large scale events removed (escalation protocol)
- 1 out of 2 gambit mode removed (this one is not so bad IMO but others might disagree)

and they may readd peices and bits over the next three years but that doesn't really mean anything when bungie has also said that they would never really want to make people start over in a D3 and are making people do so anyway in this game
