Worse than Skyrim and Fallout 4 in most respects. Exploration isn't as fun, leveling up perks is tedious, many loading screens.

Revised Review:

I've warmed up to the game over time, but I've found I have more fun in subsequent playthroughs than I did in my first one. I also rarely play Act III of the game because its a lot more overwhelming and scattered than the first two Acts.

Original Review:

Great story, characters, writing, and so many choices. But so boring to play. Combat is slow, moving is slow, navigating menus is slow. You have to micro-manage each party member. That's not a problem if playing with other people, but then you miss out on character development.

By far the best VR game in its class. Interactions in the world feel natural, game looks great and plays well on mid-tier hardware.

~ Re-reviewed after playing Cyberpunk 2077 ~

tldr: This game could have been so much more. While it is definitely worth the play, I would recommend trying to get it on a discount. I would rather stick to playing Bethesda games or CDPR games. Cyberpunk's world feels much more immersive, tugs on the heartstrings more, more interesting lore, more quests, and has much more memorable moments.

PROS:
- Looks great
- All side quests are great
- Interesting characters, great dialogue

CONS:
- Very CPU intensive. My i5-6500 was always pushed to 100%; My Ryzen 5600x fares better at around 50%, but not a good sign for older computers
- The world is completely dead. You walk around the world and every few steps there are marauders or animals to fight. There's absolutely nothing to it other than to look nice while walking to each location. Every location feels like it was placed randomly throughout the world rather than chosen for strategic reasons.
- AI is absolutely terrible. They will not notice their comrades being shot if you are far away, and when you are noticed, they know exactly where you are. Your companions could be right next to them but for some reason they would walk a mile to get to you.
- Weapons have no variety, and you are often just looting all items in order to scrap them.
- Despite every quest being great, there are not many quests in general. It is very easy to 100% this game.
- Perks aren't very enticing.

Don't recommend it at all. You are much better off just buying Skryim SE, this is just a worse version of that.

It feels like Bethesda did the bare minimum to get this game into VR; combat is janky, vision is extremely fuzzy, menus are annoying to navigate.
