Ignore the negative reviews. This game is fun, fluid, and feels like an upgraded version of MHWorld to a T. It adds a ton of quality of life features, cuts out on painful, needless grind, and makes hunting monsters FUN again. Controller support is wonderful and very responsive (I use an XBox controller). Accessibility settings are VERY good, but do take a bit of digging to get to. I recommend everyone take a look at them, especially those who are having issues with camera movement during hunts.

Yes, there are some performance issues, so check the benchmark tool to see if your system can play this well
before you purchase it. I have a GeForce RTX 4070 and an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, and the game plays nearly flawlessly at high settings with the high rez texture pack installed. The game also does use the standard Capcom dot dithering for transparencies, which I know does annoy some people.

The ONLY downside is that connectivity latency to players in Korea and Japan can be very hit or miss. In general the game compensates as well as it can but you may find yourself dealing with stuttering monster movement if the host of the hunt doesn't have good connectivity to the server.

Every so often a game idea comes along that feels like it was laser targeted for me. This is it.
Character customization is adorable, the controls are easy to remap, it obeys swapped mouse buttons without any fuss, streamer friendly music mode, and the puzzles are SUPER fun.
I am going to be spending so much time playing this game.

My only complaint is a minor one: Music volume is set to max by default, and is quite loud! But that seems to be normal for most games now, no matter how annoying it might be.

This game is so much fun. Don't be put off by the platforming, it is way easier than it seems. The challenges are fun, the game play lighthearted, and the graphics are so adorable.
The game is short, but that only adds to the charm - once you are done you are able to fully explore the world again, and complete any puzzles or challenges you missed before, so don't stress!
The controls are wonderfully accessible, too!

The fact that this game is free is criminal.
I have spent more hours in this than any 70$ game I've ever purchased.

This is quite possibly the best game I have played in years, and is now firmly wedged in my top 10 ten games of all time. I was cackling with laughter, and at times it was hard to breath I was laughing so hard. I have never played a game that consistently delivered such amazing humor.

Lovely fun game for those who want some peaceful, low stress fun building beautiful cities.

I get that this is early access. I get that game programming is difficult. But it is 2021 and there is no excuse for a game ignoring the inverted mouse buttons in Windows anymore, especially if there is no way to invert them in the game settings. This is a basic accessibility setting in Windows. Without this, the game is completely inaccessible to me due to physical disabilities that limit how I use my mouse.

I wanted to play this game. It looks to be so much fun and exactly the type of game I love. But I can't play it.

I hope this issue is fixed. But until it is, it is unplayable, and as such, I've had to get a refund on the game.

Edit: Yes. I have left feedback. I am not the first person to leave this feedback. No response from the devs thus far that I have seen on any of the feedback. I see no reason to pay for a game I can't play. When this is fixed, I'll consider re-purchasing.

Edit Two:
Multiple people reporting same issue. It is not a crash. It is a controls issue. Only reply has been once back in September, and it was by an admin on the bug tracker. A game honestly should not ignore something like this set in the OS without having a way to fix it in the game.

Quite possibly the most Myst-like game I have played in decades. I honestly couldn't bring myself to finish it with the real ending. I didn't want it to be over.
