It's OK but...

Compared to Bloons TD 5, it's a lot harder to progress because it's leaning a lot more towards the "pay to win" model...

Progression is slower and harder, lots of grinding.
Compared to TD 5 though, the graphics are better, there's new cool towers, and the skill tree is more elaborate.

Skill tree needs skill points to spend though, which are a GRIND, or BUY. Then end game skills need points, AND in-game money...

Ok it's early access, but there's very obvious faults :
Everything is in hieroglyphs... so hard to understand, you can read the help online, but then... might as well just use understandable icons and texts...
Some buttons are not placed right, especially that you can place a tower under or almost... then trying to upgrade the tower is a pain.
BALANCE! Some levels are WAY too long, I'm not talking about the boss levels, but in general... waves are too long. Towers are slow and dont do enough damage...
Would be great to have a keyboard shortcut key too for the powers.

Cute tower defense game. It's non-violent and cartoonish.
Pros : a few nice challenges, game gets easier once you get a few upgrades.
Cons : gets repetitive fast

Don't trust the mixed recent reviews... it's because of Square Enix adjusting the price for the monthly membership for 2 countries to be even to the rest of the world economically speaking...

The game is great, a lot easier than FFXI, for the most part. But I enjoy not having to prepare for 2 hours to do ONE mission, taking 1 hour to travel there, die on the way, loose half the party because it's late, and having to retry again tomorrow.

I left for about 2 years, it was too fastidious to play and type on the PS4 but now that i have a PC that can handle the Windows client... I'm back!

PS : my game time is a lot higher than what Steam states since I played on PS3, then PS4, for quite a while.

Awesome game, played the heck out of it on ps4. Now playing it again on PC. Would like some friends who have it so we could compete in the leaderboards... :(

Awesome game, didn't see time fly while playing this.

Sequel not quite as good gameplay wise.
