I never expected myself to find a rogue-like game that's more addicting than Slay the Spire. The first day I got this game, I missed an important work meeting the next morning just so I can beat ante 8 in day 1 #totallyworthit

Great cultivation game that includes base building and combat. A lot of contents to explore!

Still the best survival game of all time. Looking forward to the next sequel!

TL;DR - A walking simulation with very mild survival challenge.

As a big fan of survival games, I just can't recommend this game. After giving it for almost 10 hours, this is my experience:

ON THE HIGHEST DIFFICULTY:
- A LOT, like a lot of walking from point A to point B.
- Constantly tossing out excessive food, drinks and meds because they are weighing me down.
- I have a rifle with over 50 bullets that one shot supposedly one of the most fearsome predators in the game. (Haven't encountered bears yet, but probably nothing survives 50 shots from a rifle at this point)
- Healing injuries have little to no drawback; too many bandages and painkillers I don't even bother spraining my feet.

The survival aspect of the game is too mild, and the gameplay is just boring due to the amount of travelling you need to do.

If you want a rewarding walking simulation: Death Stranding
If you want fear and loneliness in the dark: Darkwood

Anyone who has completed the game feel free to tell me otherwise so I can continue playing it. I rarely give up on story-based games, and this is one of them sadly.

Just buy it if its on sale.
