I'll give this game a positive review here, but as you can see, I barely even started it. Why? Because if you have a Nintendo Switch, play it there instead of this PC port. The Nintendo Switch Ori and the Blind Forest is the superior version of the game:

•Character animations are 60fps;
•runs better;
•Visuals are better.

Just buy it on Nintendo Switch for a much better experience.

Great looking game, awesome platforming and terrible combat. Some of the sections were also extremely challenging but not in a traditional, fair, way but in an unreasonable way. Especially the parts that should feel awesome kind of lose their impact if you get barraged with idiotic collision objects and have to restart them one hundred times. When you finally nailed a section, guess what, the rudimentary timer of the next section just catches up with you.

I'm pissed at this game, not for being challenging but for being unfair. There were a few great moments but this is not a game I recommend. I will try the sequel because I heard that it is better but this one get's a mild pass from me unless you are curious about it like I was.
