I wanna recommend this game, but I cant at it's current state. This game was very fun to play alone and with a pal. I think the gunplay and class design is fantastic and it has the potential to be the best Borderlands game but it misses on so many things. Here's what I think is this game's biggest faults:

1. Bad optimization. It's getting very tiring that almost every big budget game is being made to run on PC's with specs 5 years ahead of most standard hardware. My Rig aint bad but I still cant get a consistent 60 FPS during more dense areas of the game.

2. The open world isn't good. Another tiring cliche that yall are doing is making every game open world. It seemed fun at first but I think Borderlands is not meant for an open world. A lot of vast empty spaces where there's nothing to do and it takes up that games space and eat up more VRAM. Driving around this world felt awful too due to the archaic vehicle design not to mention it also made the pacing of doing the main campaign feel really awkward. The map design of 2 and 3 were perfect and they should not have strayed from it.

3. Horrible endgame. Honestly the first 2 I could forgive if it weren't for the fact that the endgame (or lack thereof) of BL4 is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There's no big boss or game mode that's made to really test my builds and weapons aside from the the "Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode" and that mode is horribly designed; harder enemies with really annoying modifiers (We hated these in 3 so why the ♥♥♥♥ did you bring them back AGAIN) with no visible increase to the amount and quality of loot earned. And the horrible dedicated drop rates is my biggest gripe. I'm an adult that works full time so I don't want my small amount of free time to be spending 2 hours to grind for a weapon that barely drops and wont get the right rolls when it does. If you're gonna waste my time then ♥♥♥♥ off I'll go play something else.

I know a lot of these things can be fixed with time but your first impression is the most important and I think you fumbled with this game. You had 3 mainline titles and 2 spinoffs to learn from feedback and you learned nothing. I'm taking a good break from this game till more substantial content is released. Enjoy your new teraflop's worth of magician porn my money bought you, Randy. You really don't deserve it.

P.S. That halloween "event" was the absolute worst thing I've ever seen in the entire Borderlands series EVER. Like what the ♥♥♥♥ were you guys smoking when you made that?

I like FFXIV and I like bunny girls. If you do too this game is up your alley.

Sony. You are utter trash to restrict the game in countries that have PSN and I feel sorry for Arrowhead to deal with your BS. You have made absolute idiots of yourselves for how you've handled this situation and I'm glad to hear your stock is tanking. Hope your whole company goes over under as the world laughs at your incompetence.

I will be making another attempt to return this game until Sony either pulls back the restriction or burns in the dumpster fire they created themselves.

Sadly I cannot recommend what is otherwise a wonderful game from head to toe; aside for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sony logo in the beginning.

Did I mention I hate Sony?
