...or so I'd very much like to assert. In fact, I've been going crazy and telling all my friends about this game over the past few days, naming it "Game of the Decade" and whatnot.

However, after giving it a lot of thought, I've come to realize that, unfortunately, I simply can't state anything about this game from an objective point of view - the reason being that I'm extremely biased towards it on a very personal level.

You see, it somehow feels like this game was made just for me, for I am the kind of guy who...

• ...has a few ever-growing playlists with thousands of hand-picked tracks.
  
• ...got completely obsessed with Guitar Hero back in the golden days of PS2.
  
• ...is currently tapping his foot and nodding his head while typing this review.
  
• ...is always either listening to music or thinking about some all day long.
  
• ...goes as far as adjusting the pace of his walking speed so that it syncs to the beat.
  
• ...would rather go blind than go deaf, even knowing how terrible of a choice that'd be.

Now, don't get me wrong, this is definitely a 10/10 game, as you can probably imagine just by looking at the sheer amount of positive reviews it has. Hi-Fi Rush has a lot of great things going for it indeed, and you can read more about them in those other, less-biased reviews. I don't think I'd be able to say anything that hasn't already been said at least a few times anyway.

With all of that being said, it's clear to see what I must do here: to rephrase that very first attempt of a statement into something more truthful. It might not sound as grand as The best videogame ever made in the history of mankind, but that's ok. Even if this game might not actually be just that, it still is something else. Hi-Fi Rush is still undoubtedly and personally...

And so, let this review be a guide for every other crazy melomaniac out there: stop hesitating and buy this game now! I can assure you it will be one of the best decisions you could've made.
