I'm thinking about what I'm thinking because I was asked what I was thinking because someone was wondering what I was thinking because they were thinking that there might be someone out there thinking what they were thinking and thought that if they asked what I was thinking that they could stop thinking about what I was thinking and concentrate on what they are thinking.

I think I'm on the right track but I could be thinking that you meant to ask if I was thinking what you were thinking because what you were thinking was that I was thinking about what you were thinking, which I wasn't, but now I am, so it is quite possible that I am now thinking what you are thinking because you asked the question about me thinking what you are thinking. It all makes sense now.
