With over 150 hours in the game, some were lost due to a re-install, I've gotta say this game is worth buying.

Yes, it is a little different play style that what you would expect from Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, however Fallout 4 contends with most modern RPG/FPS genres. The main quest may take you about 20-30 hours to complete, based on difficulty setting, however the huge map with hundreds of different points of interest, side quest, and companionship progression will keep you busy. In addition, there is the sandbox feature will make time pass buy faster than you know it.

Also, whether you're playing this on PC or console, definitely check out the community MODs.

New Vegas. The post- apocalyptic game to you gambling needs. Even if you're not into the casino scenario, the quests, landscape, and lore throughout this game is worth putting some hours in.

Similar to how Mass Effect 2 starts off, our protagonist faces a severe tragedy and must engage long quest to obtain revenge and the truth which lead into the accident. Along the way, factions must be aligned and decisions must be made to develop the story on the path you've chosen.

Many features from Fallout 3 can be seen here. Karma, S.P.E.C.I.A.L., weapons, armor, perks, etc. New features include, hardcore mode and customization with certain weapons.

From my personal experience, this is definitely a game worth getting.
