Meh. TPS tries to add the same flavor as BL2, but just doesn't amount up to it by a long shot. There's a huge lack of content, guns, and generally in-all fun. Buy only if on sale. Otherwise, stick with BL2.

yes, this is a mod.

i completely respect all the effort that went into making this mod, but these modded games are usually less than desirable due to all the bugs. it took me about 15 minutes just to learn how to meditate due to a bug with a controller. this was resolved by turning off the controller setting, using the keyboard.

the prologue could not be skipped, and this adds about 10-15 minutes of a slow paced intro. *yawn.

although skyrim is a decent game engine to build on, it may have been better to just buy the assets from unreal/unity so this could have at least been monetized and easier to resolve bugs.

a well put together game, with the same concept of the old games we used to play.

How did this game make it past beta?

-bullet connects to target, but target receives no damage
-grass does not render on far areas, or can simply be removed on low graphics setting
-high ping players have the advantage over lower ping players
-game randomally crashes
-simply single shot mouse macros can greatly reduce gun recoil
-hackers
-more hackers
-i mentioned hackers, right?

bring back pre-season. all new this stuff is bs. also, devs never said they would reset elo - only CR.

Good poential game, but has a lot of balancing issues. Auto Repair hero is way OP, were as the pirate ad goblin are very week. Since auto repair has a high win rate, bettr items can be awarded further increasing the win rate.

Also, being able to not use items, abilities, and/or scrolls while moving makes play-ability difficult.

I'm sure devs will work on these issues soon enough.

Game is great, I'm not going to lie, but it's not worth buying right now because of the following reason.

-NO LEVEL CAP! Pretty sure most of you are already level 70. Well even if your level 50, then you should have no problem beating this is less that 4 hours on survival mode.
-This should be a $5 dlc for lack extended game play
-New companion can become OP as soon as you apply mods.

On the exception, if you're new and just starting, then this mod will be good for you.

tldr, good for GOTY edition, if they make one.

Since this game came out on Xbox 360, I've always wanted to play it. The Redux came out, and for PC. Finally within my library, I immediately start the game. The graphics are beautiful and the story seems very interesting.

As a single player FPS, levels are very straight forward. There is little room for exploration, even though some levels offer it. Going out of your way may seem worthwhile, where the reward would simply be an in-game currency and/or ammo/supplies.

The two biggest let downs are the overly-used marketing for the authors book. There is one instance where your character has to lay directly in front of a Metro book for about 5 minutes. The other is story progression. The first half of the game is great. You're getting close to the objective, while a few questions may arise. What just happened, what's going on, or what's supposed to happen next. At the end of the game, these questions do not get answered.

I've beaten this game in about 6 hours. There is maybe another 5-6 left, but it hardly feels worth it.

Sadly, this is a classic case of a great graphics game with terrible story progression.

My advise is to read the book.
