Not being an impudent child:
1a. People make mistakes — forgiveness is an adult construct. Sometimes people cross a line out of ignorance, not malice. (For example, using assets without consent. Politely ask for credit instead of attacking.)
1b. Trying to fully stop people from using your art rarely works; reuploads will happen. Censorship usually backfires.
1c. The internet doesn’t care about feelings or copyrights. You may have the legal right to enforce them, but that doesn’t always make you a good person.
1d. If someone steals art/assets, not much can be done beyond takedowns. Legal threats are pointless online — people use VPNs, alts, and other computers.

Blocking people without a good reason:
2a. Blocking someone just for looking for a relationship is harsh. It may be their first attempt.
2b. If you already have a partner, just say so kindly. Relationships in the fandom aren’t easy.
2c. Politics: don’t block over disagreements. Every idea has pros and cons. Stepping away is fine, but don’t wall yourself off completely.
2d. Avoid heated politics in public forums. Private discussions with friends are safer.

The sexual side of the fandom:
3a. The fandom’s roots are tied to sexuality. Early cartoons/animation used anthro characters to sidestep censorship. Fan clubs grew from this.
3b. If you can’t handle that yiff/hentai exist in the fandom, it may not be for you. You don’t have to like it, but you should respect it.
