Still one of the best expansions packs, or "DLC" for all of you who were still wearing diapers when this came out, there is.
Still have the original box cover somewhere.

Deserves a proper remake AND a sequel.

Fun and explosive rollercoaster of an FPS with a point scoring system to keep things fresh. Don't expect anything fancy though, what you see is what you get. But that's okay, just like movies like The Expendables or Hobbs & Shaw can be okay. Sometimes you just want to switch of your brain and just go with it, and Bulletstorm is just that.

Would I recommend it when at full price? I'd have to say no. It's too old and too buggy for its current asking price.
I've had to restart certain chapters at times because the game didn't load in an event which would let me progress through the level. Or sometimes when I start up the game and there is no audio. It's back after I restart the game but it's annoying that it's returning occurance.
When it's on sale though, let's say 5 bucks, don't hesitate to grab it. It's still a hell of a brawny shooter.

An OK shooter by todays standards made worse due to it's high asking pricing. Even on sale i've never seen it go under 10 euro's.

Because of this I cannot recommend it.

For a newcomer like myself there is a shirtton of quality content here and it's free to play. It's interesting, it plays well and it doesn't feel overly monopolized, so I see no reason to not recommend . I'd actually recommend buying the Forsaken expansion if you really like the base game.

Though a lot has changed since No Man's Sky was released (for the better) it still remains a tedious grindfest.
Because of this No Man's Sky got boring really fast for me and i can only recommend it to players who just like building stuff for the sake of building stuff and don't mind spending hours upon hours collecting resources and materials to do so.

And if you think it will be better because you can play with friends in co-up you're sadly mistaken. Yes you can, but no, it's not fun. What it basically comes down to is that you'll both be playing a singleplayer game, just together. Sure you can help eachother out but there is no insentive to play together really.

If this sounds like fun to you by all means, go for it, there is enough for you here. Meanwhile I'll be going back to something that actually rewards me with dopamine for exploring. Something like Subnautica. Now that's a great game.

Great game with a dodgy feeling monetization scheme behind it and confusing sales practices. Let us just buy your game and enjoy it, not spend time going over which edition to buy and what pack upgrade I need to get access to other features or having to worry that I can't play because the servers are down.

This way of playing games is uncomfortably unpleasant and therefor not recommended.

Bought Deep Rock Galactic for me and a friend to experience what it's like too be short with a beard.
So far we've drilled a lot of unnecessary tunnels, low ones mostly, played barrel-footy in each others rooms, perfected our Gimli impressions, but above all, laughed a whole bunch.

Keeping my eye on this little shiny gem.

Not really sure why some people dislike this game while using Road Rash in the same sentence but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I've burst out laughing a bunch of times when crashing in to oncoming traffic due to a kick from an opponent or when grabbing someone and slamming into the grill of a truck together. The impact of it is just hilarious.

I have never played Road Rash myself, though I do remember the game back in the day, and from what I remember of it Road Redemption definitely pays hommage to it. It might not be exactly the same but that was probably not the goal of the developers. I think they wanted to take the best parts from it, which ofcourse is the bike-brawling, and combine it with more modern mechanics and genres to make it more interesting. And it works. At least for me it does.

The game is structured as a rogue-lite with randomly generated tracks and game-modes and in my opponion that provides the player with a more replayable experience. It makes dying feel less like a failure with you having to start all over again and more like another chance with better upgrades. You'll be less focussed on just getting to the end of the game and more busy with getting as much XP out of your next run as you can so you can build up your ultimate road warrior.

Racing does play factor ofcourse, you're on a motorbike afterall, but don't expect to much from it, the focus here is more on wasting your opponents and causing mayhem and honestly most of the fun is there too.
The action is pretty much non stop and the combat is more than just mashing a few buttons. The combat mechanics are actualy quite extensive believe it or not and if you're able to master it you'll be chaining together combo's left and right without even getting hit. Nothing feels better than riding in between two foes, deflecting both their attacks and quickly following that up with a pipe to the helmet of the guy to left of you knocking of his helmet followed by a swing of your sword decapitating him, all the while avoiding the gang of thugs building op on the right of you which you then deal with by sticking a bomb to his back and kicking him into his buddies so they fly of the road and explode again a rock in your rearview mirror.

I've always been a big fan of the Burnout series and Road Redemption reminded me a lot of it and that's obviously a good thing. There are simply not enough action packed racing games out there that let you rampage through traffic utterly wrecking your opponents. It just brings a big smile to my face.

It's a short stealth puzzler but a good one at that with a surprisingly deep and interactive story that asks for multiple playthroughs. The graphics are simple; you know, minimalistic retro style, but it works. The game mechanics are not too complicated which makes it easy to get in to while at the same time feeling innovative and challenging enough to hold your attention. Each level is like a little puzzle that you can tackle in different ways. Are you going in punching everyone's lights out or are you taking the stealthy approach. Should I turn that light off to distract the guard in the room or do I simply lock him out. It's up to you, but the stealthier you finish the job the hagher the rating and the pay.
