Awesome game, play it.

Great game, runs very well, it's cheap, buy it.

Ok before you buy.
I give this a 9/10 but that's my opinion.

1st and foremost this IS an idle game, yes you can code to automate it, but you will leave this game running for hours to gather resources.

Will it teach you python coding? very basic only.

is it fun - yes if you enjoy puzzles / coding and don't mind the idle waiting for resources.

I give this a 9/10, I'm loving this, it's a slow process, I'm not a programmer. The game does teach you most of what you need to know, and so far I've been able to work out the rest myself. But it's very rewarding when you do work out how to complete the more complex tasks.

That said I feel there is a few QoL features missing. like an ingame console for debugging rather than using a .txt doc ( I didn't notice there was one sorry ), and the lack of a search function in the ingame documentation, the documentation is very basic.

If you have an interest in coding, even if you have no experience then this game may be for you.

It's cheap, give it a go.

I'm changing my verdict on this game to a thumbs up, but just beware the ingame tutorial is terrible and even youtubers with 2500 hours+ are resorting to cheats just to complete it on the tutorials they make for the tutorial .

The new player experience is very bad and I expect a lot of people, me included quit in frustration.

Watch you tube tutorials (Splitsie & CowsAreEvil have great guides) rather than do the in game scenario's and the game might just grow on you as it did for me :)

Old Review :-

This has been on my wish list for years, I love the idea and the game could be great but there are far too many annoyances for me.

The controls are terrible, the jet pack which you need to use to build, get around etc, rolls when you turn, you constantly need to be up righting your self while flying.

The menu's are badly designed

Building is clunky, you need to aim exactly the right spot to snap a block to another. Finding items in the build menu is unintuative. The build planner doesn't count items you have on you or in an inventory, so if you need 120 plates and you have 110, it will still build 120.

There is no inventory sorting, you need to install a mod for this, in fact you will need to install mods to sort most problems.

I want to like this game but I can't it just frustrates me no end.

I'm about 60 hours into Satisfactory and I'm hooked. It's still in early access but I've yet to come across a bug.

Highly recomend for anyone who loves RPG's.

This game keeps all the good elements of the 1st original sin and improves on it greatly,

Pros :-
Great story.
Beautiful graphics and performance on a average spec PC.
Indepth tactical turn based combat system.
Build your player characters you want, not restricted to classes.
Choose what class your companions are.
Choices, lots of them, play the way you want.

Cons :-
Minor bugs at release, very few and being fixed quickly with daily patches.
Gamepad UI and controls are awefull, you'll want to use keyboard & mouse.
So adictive you wont sleep ;p

10/10 This game is going to be a classic !

I played in the beta of this and didn't like it, this game has changed a lot since then, I've now been playing for over a week and loving it, theres still improvments that I personaly feel could be made, but right now I'd recomend this to any TES & MMO fans.

Best 4x game I've played, 10/10

Very nice puzzle game, I'm only a few puzzles in so far, yet they are already becoming challenging but not impossible. No need for programing experience as there is a very limited set of commands and all puzzles can be solved if you read the manual.
