Probably the best F2P MMO ever created.

The game advertises itself as Steam Deck compatible, but has severe brightness/alpha issues (the image to adjust brightness/alpha doesn't even appear, even at 100% brightness.)

The game occasionally crashes on cutscenes and loading screens on Steam Deck.

I tried running the game on my linux PC (to see if it would run better than on the Steam Deck), but it freezes before the main menu screen.

I am refunding the game due to technical issues.

I played the demo and liked it. So it seemed obvious to pick it up when it hit 1.0. But somewhere in between the demo and release, they got rid of any form of tutorial?!

This game has no real structured guidance. You are left with walls of text inside of a in-game help page and that is it.

In any other style game, that could maybe work. But here, every action you (don't) take is against an approaching doom clock. You have 3 in-game days before your school gets destroyed. Hope you figure out everything you need with no guidance to survive your first encroachment!

I have the ultimate love/hate relationship with this game. The game is fun to play, my hours attest to that. But every update forces me to reevaluate my relationship with this game.

$300 and five years later, this game still doesn't feel cohesive. Every DLC is priced like a game itself, and adds less and less. The game is completely unrecognizable from it's release, and that isn't a good thing. There doesn't feel like there is an end state or goal for this game. Every DLC and expansion seems to come with some type of overhaul that completely changes some former aspect of the game. It doesn't feel like they have a firm foundation and are building content upon it, but rather that they come in and jackhammer the foundation every six months and ask you to pay the price of the game again to rebuild it. Always a new foundation, never anything built upon it.

Now they want us to subscribe to unlock all the DLC, or buy DLC season passes ahead of time. This isn't a live service game. Why does it feel like we are being milked and exploited as if it was?

Placeholder text abounds, missing descriptions, "TBA", mentions of items coming up in Early Access, but the game is supposedly in 1.0 release.

Overall, just a lack of polish and attention to detail. Paths that don't line up with bridges, ignoring preference on prince versus princess. This game feels like it should've been cooked for a bit longer, but they rushed it out and slapped 1.0 on it.

A masterclass in storytelling.

A very good exploration puzzle game. Progression through knowledge was very fun!

Setting the standard for developer support for the entire industry.

Absolute blast with friends. The true metaverse.

The closest we are ever going to get to an AAA SCP Foundation game. Amazing lore, beautiful world, satisfying combat.

Quite possibly my favorite game of all time.
