If you treat it like the description says:
"...Early Access participants should approach this phase as a testing experience, not a finished product.”

You can have a good time if you are into old school MMO's with some promising features. Yes, there are tech issues, bugs, jank. They do not hide this fact at all, but no one reads anything anymore and then they get upset at the experience. Set your expectations accordingly.

The game itself is good. DLC/MTX suck but dont buy them.

Put it on hard and the combat is great, like darksouls with wands. Pretty dope.

You can form a posse of gorillas and terrorize cities. 10/10

Look, ignore the typical port controls for five seconds and you will be fine.
Sure it doesn't have ultrawide support, and the control scheme was designed by a 6 year old high on mountain dew. Get past it because the game is great. Don't let some technical stuff hold you back. All these people that spent $2000 over retail for their try hard videocards want 8k 240hz 9000 FPS, but you aren't getting it. Get over your self. Enjoy a good game. Or don't what do I care. I still have a 5700xt and it's fine, I don't need a AAAAAAAAA game to justify blowing my life savings on a scalped videocard. Oh yeah, Russia sucks.


1/10/2023 update:
Get a few mods to remove black bars, add ultrawide support and its a gem. Stuttering is fixed now too.

Spend weeks in game getting the perfect base, loaded up in full combat gear ready to take on a horde.
Get bit by a single zombie hiding in the bushes while fishing naked and die. 10/10
