Surprisingly good even if you’re not into extraction shooters.
The gunplay feels tight, progression is rewarding, and the mix of PvE and PvP keeps things fresh. The visuals are top-tier, and performance is noticeably better than most games with the same caliber of graphics. The team at Embark obviously knows what they are doing.
My only gripe is that some items could use clearer descriptions and what they are used for, but overall, this one’s been a great surprise.

Refreshing game from recent slop that is going on in AAA industry.
Gunplay is extremely fun and addicting. It is well optimized compared to other games nowadays.

UPDATE 24/10/25: Some issues are starting to appear regarding several things. Maps are not up to standard from previous Battlefield games, they lied about the scale in interviews.
SMGs are extremely overtuned compared to other weapons, you can get easily beamed from "across the map" (read: 35 meters max). There is little to no reason to use higher caliber / slower weapons because with current tuning and current map selections, they simply don't have anything going for them.
And lastly, really silly and buggy challenges that are not intuitive at all, have poorly written description or straight up don't work. The challenge system needs an overhaul on many of those tasks.

UPDATE 13/01/26: Lazy, lackluster and dry content updates, no changes to existing maps / no new maps. The matchmaking system is extremely bad at the moment and games are unenjoyable or take forever to form. I tried playing it, I really did but it's time to uninstall it.

UPDATE: They nerfed the melee :)

Really fun to play with friends but the price is not justified, it's a downgrade in a lot of aspects - runs terrible on high-end hardware, servers are lagging, there are barely any weapons, AA missile indicator is bugged, revives don't work half of the time and it crashes a lot

UPDATE 18/12/21: experiencing less crashes, revive is still bugged sometimes but way better than it was, getting more FPS all around but there are still lag spikes

UPDATE 12/06/22: finally seeing some new content, game engine is still not fixed and it still crashes with DirectX errors if GPU clocks are too high (you need to underclock stock settings for it not to crash), new map is really good, good content update but too late, paid too much for this mess, still no
