Story, characters, graphics, voice acting and music are stellar.
Voice recordings sometimes vary in quality, but I think some of the lines were recorded during the pandemic. I got used to it after a while. Minor issue.

Act 3 is held together with rubber bands and paperclips. It feels huge yet unfinished at the same time. I still enjoyed it.

This game has exactly the right amount of challenge. It feels difficult but it doesn't take a thousand attempts. Fantastic game.

However, don't buy it here. None of the money goes to the original developers.

Get it if you really enjoyed the first game.

A great souls game. The parrying and dodging felt natural and most of the bosses didn't feel ridiculously difficult. I'd say only one of them took me more than 5 attempts.

There are a few little bugs though. For example, there's a quest you can do with one NPC that won't give you an achievement unless you do things in the order it expects you to, even though the outcome is the same.

The music, environments and visuals are fantastic. At one point I stopped and admired some small sunflowers for a moment, then tried to remember if they were in the original game (I still don't know). The new mechanics were very creative and I enjoyed the puzzles, even if they were somewhat easy.

However, the story isn't very deep (but it's not that important in a portal game, I suppose) and it felt mostly like a retelling of Portal 2 with less interesting characters, perhaps because this game is shorter and had less time to actually flesh them out.

This could just be a me-problem, but I did not like the voice acting in some parts of the game. I don't even think they did a bad job, because both of the voices fit their characters very well. I just didn't get along with some of the lines.

I recommend this mod if you're a big Portal fan.

Spooky and funny and interesting

It took me quite a while to get used to the controls and I thought some of the early levels were terrible, but I'm glad I stuck with it in the end. The later levels were great. The gold expansion levels were also good, but Nightmare in Vegas seems to have a really dumb glitch where the boss gets stuck in the cage and you can't kill it.
