This game has some(if not THE) of the most fun, engaging, dynamic, and persistently unique game play out of anything I have played in the past decade. Every mission feels like something distinct and unique even when replaying the same or similar objectives continuously. The variety of how and when you encounter enemies makes every situation approachable in a massive variety of ways. You can think of tactics and strategy in your team in so many different way.

Getting blow up and blowing up other people is also a pretty fun thing that just happens randomly.

Sony tried to kill the community of this game by requiring 3rd party account linking with 0 benefit to the players or the community on either the PSN or PC side. Requiring 3rd party accounts for anything in this day and age when you have multi-platform releases and cross-play is insanely ridiculous.

Lots of fun to be had through the battles and campaign whether you want a more battlefield experience or a civilization management experience.

A fun combination of Mega Man spirit and rogue-lite elements that offers a unique take on the genre. Very enjoyable Co-op experience as well.

The atmosphere, sounds, music, and narrative make you feel so connected to the world of the game. You care about the characters and the story and it will give you the feels.

Excellent sequel. Even more feels than the last.

This game is brutal and beautiful! You get the adventure of a Metroidvania and the vicious combat of a Souls game mixed into this dark world for you to discover and attempt to understand. Just as the Penitent One picked up Mea Culpa and must complete his Penance to purge himself of the Guilt that drive him you won't be able to put it down. This is a game filled with pain and frustration and righteous triumph.

It's a blasty-blast of fun.
