I had constant issues just trying to stream the game. I ended up giving up on it. It just wouldn't capture in Window mode. That being said, it's a demo and I am a little forgiving when it comes to these. Once I did get things going, I was having fun with the mechanics. It's no Snowrunner 2, but it's not SUPPOSED to be. It still has some kinks to work out, but all-in-all, I had fun.

Looking forward to bug fixes!

Should you pre-order? Nah. Wait for it to release, see what us streamers think once it comes out, THEN make your decision.

I had the honor and privilege of experiencing this game alongside the developer during a livestream on Twitch. The music is very immersive and the graphics are very well-polished. It had my audience craving more, wanting more....wanting to know the story.

In the end, it was emotionally gripping. I appreciated the world-building and cinematic quality that this game provided.

This game plays out like a movie and it won't take you too long to experience it, but man...what a ride.

FWIW, as a veteran KSP player, I'm having fun. I love love love the new designs of the UI. It makes a hell of a lot more sense and the tutorials will teach even the most veteran of players something new.

The question you have to ask yourself is could this be better? Yes. Is it worth buying? Sure.
I watched the videos from the developers and designers and there is a lot of love put into this game from a passionate crew.

If you're expecting a "complete" game from something that's Early Access, then that's your own fault. Will it have bugs? Definitely. Will it feel like it's "missing something"? Of course.

...But if you made it this far, you're not paying $50 for any of the above, you're paying $50 to support the next generation of Kerbal Space Program. There will be more updates and bugfixes and features and optimizations...just be patient.

Also, a word of caution, negativity is more "entertaining" than support. People make money off of bashing things because it's more entertaining than someone like me who's overall having fun with it.

Buy it, poke around with it, have some fun. I'm enjoying it.

This game is a love letter to everyone that cherished Animal Crossing: New Horizons and also played Stardew Valley. It's charming, colorful, relaxing, and very user friendly. You can tell that the SOLE developer payed a lot of attention to detail and made sure this game was very close to being done before releasing it as Early Access.

I know many games that are Early Access are VERY Alpha. This one isn't. It has plenty of polish and depth to it. I can tell that there's plenty to explore and do.

Just as it is, the developer has been very active on Discord with his community and is taking feedback well and squashing bugs as they come in. In addition to that, before launch, outlined a road map that looked very promising! But, even then that is flexible as it'll be up to the community how the game will be shaped.

If you're reading this far, you should just go ahead and jump on this one. It's worth its weight in gold.

Having played Sims 3, this is a great next gen Sims game

My thoughts on No Man's Sky:
*begin soapbox* I agree, it does need some polish. What they should have done was offer up a pre-release version that several people can play similar to other games of the same genre. There were a lot of things that needed to be ironed out before releasing to the public. Overall, I'm really enjoying the game and it's everything I expected it to be. Once they iron out the graphics and inventory (which I really don't have a problem with, like I said just needs polish), it's going to be a really good game. Expecting a game to be perfect on launch and match 100% with the publics expectations especially with a small Dev team is just unfair. It's a good game and if you're on the fence about buying it, just consider the feat of procedurally generating a universe as large as it has with all of the flora and fauna. Minecraft was nowhere near perfect when it was first pre-released and even up to version 1.0. Give the game a chance, work around the issues and have patience. In all of my years of gaming and as a professional application developer, you won't find a Dev team more dedicated to making this game what they envisioned it to be. You won't be disappointed with what will come to this game. *end soapbox*
