it's really fun, naturally KF2 players will complain it's a more streamlined, modern day live service game, but that's the era we're in and I think KF3 does it well. nine maps and six classes at launch is acceptable to me, and i love the progression in this game so far.

I feel like this game is run better than Forza Horizon 5. Progression actually feels meaningful and obtaining new cars feels rewarding rather than just being showered by Wheelspins, plus I think the game just looks better and I enjoy the tighter feel of the gameplay.

The game is built around the Playlist system, where you're loaned cars to complete certain races and when you finish a playlist, you earn a car. At first I was confused by this as it felt like money didn't mean much, but I was wrong as once you finish a playlist, there are more activities within it which allow you to use cars you own on those same races to earn more rewards.

I enjoy the seasonal/weeklies system more than FH5 as well. The Weekly Summit is the highlight of this as it features nine activities (6 races, 3 open world challenges) with leaderboards and worthwhile rewards. Some of the Summit events require you own a certain car which is a cash drain and can be annoying, but I appreciate the feeling that I'm always working toward something.
