- End game faction based around royal class structures
- Mix between magic and technology with Psylinks & Psychic Abilities
- Allows you to make pawns feel important by advancing them through the empires ranks to become royalty themselves
- Other late game focused content like cataphract armor (super heavy advanced armor), more implants like specialized limbs and etc
- More utility equipment like jump packs and low shield packs

Pros
- You can betray the empire instead of working with them, aswell as obtaining psylinks from other sources
- You can make colonists feel important with royal titles
- The late game faction gives more access to later game content through traders and such
- A bit more quest options aswell as mech clusters
- Jump packs and low shield packs are poggers
- Expands the late game

Cons
- Feels more bland compared to the other expansions, probably because it dosent change much how the game is played
- The late game faction is great but a late game faction is something that can be added with mods aswell
- The Psychic powers are really underwhelming, the only one i made good use of is the one to induce inspirations
- The natural way of getting psychic powers through a anima tree is confusing at best


Conclusion
get ideology and biotech before royalty

Worse than the original and more expensive ($40 when i bought it), i completely regret this purchase and wish i just got the original game instead

This game right here is a gem so much so that i literally bought it twice. It is a unique Rouge *LITE* table top rpg game and my god is it a good one.
It comes with enough unique content to keep you occupied for days on end, and if thats not enough its workshop creation system can provide you with even more!

You, Yes you not some programmer or designer, can make actual characters. Their simple workshop system allows you to easily make abilities to do a immense amount of things. Incase you ran out of storys to play you can make or download new ones from the workshop.

Incredible Building game with multiple scenarios where you can make a incredibly diverse ammount of things like spaceships
satelites and the obvious like planes submarines and ships so massive that they violate the geneva convention.

but its a great game that dosent get nearly as much popularity as it should and i would highly recommend it.

Plenty of the negative reviews about poor multiplayer performance are mostly outdated and multiplayer is stable and very enjoyable
