Highlander 最近的评测

POSITIVES:
1. Free and you don't have to buy a new football game every year.
2. You don't need crazy system requirements to run it and it has cool graphics.
3. You can build a great team with free Epic players that Konami gives every once in a while for completing campaigns and events (Coins). Older free accounts can have some serious great players that even the paid ones can't have.
NEGATIVES:
1.From a certain point, you will find some serious difficulty to experience the full content of the game if you don't pay in. For example there are certain abilities in game such as Blitz Curler or Bullet Header which are mostly attached to players whom you can get only from spinning 150/150 gambling packs which cost around 120 euros. Though you can still win without them.
2. It only has a few licensed teams and you will get bored to see fictional club names and logos instead of the real ones.

It is an old game and the first 3D GTA to be ever produced.
Graphics were average for their time (bad compared to next year's Vice City), archaic controls, very limited options on what to do, countless bugs that slowed my progress significantly and the story line seemed to be too boring and somehow incomplete.
I felt that the whole interaction between all those characters and the general climate was too bland and depressing.
Most characters came and go without a purpose.
I cannot imagine what was the reason for making a mute protagonist back then.
For the first time on my gaming experience, I felt like I was forced to finish a game.
I don't know what could have been my review if I didn't play Vice City back then.
Not gonna touch it again, thank you.

First time I played this one was back in 2008. Believe me or not, I find the same joy playing it as I did back then. Because pros are too many and I am bored to list them I will just say the cons.

1. 20 euros is not great for a game that is 14 years old but you can buy a steam product key for half that price in many digital stores or wait for a steam sale.

2. Most of the online servers now are still playing on 1.7 version and didn't update up to this day. So once you have downloaded it, you will have to downgrade it manually or just join a server and it will downgrade by it's own.

3. The game is somehow not synchronized with Punkbuster, never understood how it works.

4. If you ever did a format on your PC, you can't restore your previous in-game achievements and progress unless you have kept the save files.

5. Nowadays internet it's full of hacks and tricks that allows you to get the full progress instantly.

I don't think that there is something more bad than that so my advice is to buy this legendary master piece.
