Absolutely! Consulting the community and voting with our wallets is best. A lot of people can save a lot of wasted money by doing that. The trick is to always consult the community. I always look for negative reviews and negative comments on the forums. I can judge if I care about that based on my preferences. Honestly Idprefer steam let the dogs out as is. We as customers have to stick together and spread information so we can vote with our wallets! Although yeah, sometimes it feels like steam does let too much pass.

Yeah it definitely is very, very lacking. The whole gig is corrupt anyways so you dodged a bullet in a huge way by not buying into it all. Really gotta watch out for these Early Access indie devs nowadays. There are so many milking people with garbage games now and Valve doesn't seem to give a crap about poor quality standards festering on their platform.
