This game is so charming, and a joy to play. The controls were great and the platforming/puzzles were light and fun. The craziest thing is I really like Pikmin but this game puts nintendo completely to shame. All in all it took me about 10.5 hours to 100% the game, and my only real complaint is I didn't want it to end and a few achievements were finicky about popping. As of the time of this writing the fix is to load up the game and visit every area (don't forget transidor and also the final attic area). Once you do this it will force 4 achievements to pop. If they put out any DLC or sequels I'll buy them no questions asked on release day. Also, I played the entire game on steam deck without any issues or crashes and did no tweaking at all to the graphics or performance settings. Kudos to the devs for great work!

Just finished my playthrough on this game and I have to say, it was a fantastic story. The devs really did a good job making Miles unique and his combat style and moveset while similar at it's core differ wildly from Peter with the use of venom attacks. This made combat seem soooo powerful. My son watched along with me as I played and the game is just gorgeous on my desktop using a 3080ti. Nixxes did a very good job on the port, however we did encounter probably 4 crashes to desktop and at least a dozen awkward graphical glitches. Even with those hiccups I still recommend this game, and I paid full price to support the devs and Sony porting more playstation games over. Can't wait to see what's next!

Super fun solo campaign! I loved every second of it, the voice acting, character movements, plot, everything. I played through my first time in about 5 hours which may seem short but that's honestly refreshing for a busy dad. I could sit down and in two evening sessions beat the story.

Game runs great and plays great. Major props to Nixxes for the port and the updates after release as well. Thank you Sony for bringing Spider-Man back to PC finally. Looking forward to trying out Miles Morales Fall '22

Overall this definitive edition version of the game has been very buggy during my playthrough. Cutscene items render oddly, and once in a while in a truly horrific way (IE: the cutscene when you save beans). On top of that there have been 5 instances where I've hand picked a vehicle I liked, customized it, and had it totally disappear during cut scenes between chapters. The first time this happened I shrugged it off but FIVE TIMES?! Plus one of the missions literally instructs you to bring a fast vehicle and then that vehicle disappears during the course of the mission?? Also missions where you partner up with Joe or Henry their characters will often glitch and randomly pop around the screen, especially if they are supposed to get in the car. Overall these bugs have killed the game for me. I'm on Chapter 14 and I'm trying to slog through to the finish line...

Now as far as the story goes - it's incredibly weak compared to Mafia 1. You play a good bit of the story before anyone even mentions one of the Dons, and once you become part of the family it feels all rushed and there's no real meaning to it. Ultimately I feel like the story traps me into being Vito, who goes around following his dumb friend Joe and ends up getting into more and more trouble repeatedly when plans go south. Feels more like a roller coaster or downward spiral than a climatic story arch.

Ultimately I don't recommend the game, you can get better gameplay, graphics, and story from many other games that offer similar open world driving areas.

Super fun game, I like that the difficulty rollercoasters on each donut box. Some of them had me stumped for quite a while but once I broke through the difficult ones and got to the next box, a new element is introduced and the difficulty starts off easier and ramps up again. Wonderful game with great music and lots of positivity. Perfect for winding down after a day of work.

What a beautiful game - the story has been really great so far and I'm only up to Chapter 8. My only disappointment is that there are still lingering glitches that were never fixed by the developer. If you get stuck in a tent in Chapter 6 do some googling on how to fix it for example.

On another positive note the game plays wonderfully on steam deck as well, although for a first playthrough I recommend a desktop PC with settings cranked to ultra because this game has a lot of eye candy

Wow, what an interesting game. Took me back to the beginning of facebook, poke wars, being glued to the messages.. all the good things. Aaaaaand then it also reminded me how much I hated seeing ♥♥♥♥ being posted on people's walls like photos at the mall while you said you were too busy to hang out, how easy it was to read intentions incorrectly, AND ALSO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRUSTED BROOKE, YOU BROKE MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HEART. Wait a minute, did I say Brooke. I meant Emily. Ahem. Yea. Emily.

As far as racing games go, it's just ok. A lot of the 'boss' tracks involve track mechanics like dino mouths that open and close and you have no real way of avoiding them, it's mostly just lucky timing. You can be in your last lap and in 1st place only to get hit by one and knocked back to 8th. Not a great mechanic. Couple that with the loot boxes and large amount of DLC that costs $$ and it's just not worth it. I'll keep trying to play through the story mode but won't buy any of the expansions or DLC cars.

I bought this game primarily to play campaign, and with a flight stick as I like flight simulators. As a star wars fan and flight sim fan I had a great time in the campaign It took me about 9 hours to beat it, including binding and mapping controls. I was very impressed at the variety of ships you get to fly for each faction and how they each perform various tasks in each mission. I do wish the story was longer, and after beating it I attempted to play some multiplayer matches but found as of 7/30/22 I wasn't able to queue up and get a match. It's quite a shame as I was really looking forward to trying out my hand at playing a support role as those ships were super fun to fly in the campaign.

Overall the attention to detail, flight mechanics, and story all make this game worth picking up on sale as you can still enjoy the solo campaign. I did also try to play with a controller but found the controls largely unintuitive so if you only have a controller you may want to research if the game lets you rebind those controls first.
