Bought the game for the Windows XP background

This game is fun and very well made, I want to 100 percent it. But I genuinely don't know if i can bring myself to playing this again, it kinda hurts, makes me sad. almost wanna refund it but i mean its good so..

It's a decent game. I feel like you can only enjoy these trilogy of games if you (at the bare minimum) had some kind of sentience before 2011, otherwise it's a lost art. Understanding this is not even just about the design or aesthetic of old facebook, or hearing the hard drive write and whir away, it's the attitudes of the time. Obviously a strong part of the developer's childhood and others who look upon this positively.

I enjoy the authenticity of the characters, what sets this game apart from the other two is specifically the broad range of choice you have to succeed and fail, the game does not punish you for microcosms as it may have in previous games. I used this saga as an opportunity to sit and think about a thread of my life similar to the story.

This game is a "tearjerker", it's meant to hook and reel you with nostalgia, and actually punish you for having a similar sad story you can relate to, but you may be able to enjoy it and take something positive from it if you look between the fine lines and appreciate the story for what it is, an important point of development in a crucial moment. This is reflected well in the attitudes of the characters (notice, for example, Mat's attitude from Chapter 1 and then Chapter 5). What happens in the story is an incredibly rich experience


Don't be miserable. Always put yourself out, better to love and lose than never to love at all.
