Fallout 4 scratched an itch I never thought I had after Skyrim. My favorite part of this entry in the series has got to be the settlement building. Combat doesn't add too much more from Fallout 3 - and the writing (dialogue choices and plot armor abounds) leave much to be desired - however, the way it's delivered graphically is a vast improvement - especially assisted by mods. The modding community for this game and Skyrim are by far some of the greatest you will find - honestly, Bethesda should have offered jobs to quite a few of them.

TL;DR - 9/10: A solid 7 for how it is standalone, even with its "meh" writing, it kept a good part of the original Fallout spirit alive. And.. I donated +2 on behalf of the modding community.

The sheer scale and attention to detail in every corner of this open-world is nothing short of awe-inspiring. It's an experience that engages not only your skills as a player but also your imagination and curiosity. Each encounter is a dance of skill, timing, and strategy, rewarding players who are willing to learn and adapt.

Visually, Elden Ring is a masterpiece. The attention to detail in the character designs, environmental textures, and atmospheric effects is simply breathtaking.

Multiplayer could use a little work though..

TL;DR - 10/10: Maidenless, yet a lot of cheek-clapping to be had.

This game right here has been the linchpin of my childhood. If you haven't played this game before you've done a great job of telling me you live under a rock without telling me you live under a rock. TL;DR - 999/10: War. War never changes.

1.5 hours in and I can say, barring the unfortunate clipping of certain animatronics in certain daycare areas, this game is a blast and a half. I’m using a fairly competent PC with a Ryzen 7 and RTX 2070 Super OC with plenty of RAM, and it has a few frame rate drops, but not a dealbreaker. Your mileage may vary depending on your specs. These issues I’m sure will be addressed down the line with patching.

That said, Steel Wool did a fine job with this entry into the FNAF franchise. I’m looking forward to seeing how they optimize the game moving forward.

TL;DR - 9/10: Would wait 2 years for this game to come out again.

10/10 - This game gave me lemons, but I didn’t make lemonade. I made the game take the lemons back! I got mad! I didn’t want their damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? I demanded to see the game's manager! Make this game rue the day it thought it could give me lemons! "Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

This game - when played with friends, or meeting new ones - is a downright joy to play. I haven't had as much fun playing a dirge as I go down with my sinking ship off into the sunset since Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag. You can almost taste the salt as the waves crash over you and you watch the crows nest slowly dip below the waves, lost to Davy Jones locker.

TL;DR - 10/10: Would defeat the Flying Dutchman without personally firing a shot again.

This is quite an addiction - for those like me - that would rather digitally simulate powerwashing something than getting their sneakers soaked.

Being published by Square Enix, I fully expected some crazy twist of events, like Sephiroth arriving out of nowhere to merc my powerwasher.. or Lavos emerging from the volcano at the volcanologist’s cleanup job to destroy the world while Crono and Magus are busy.

TL;DR - 10/10: Would spray a throwback S symbol into the muddy playground flooring again
