There is nothing I can say that has not yet been said. This game is funny, creative, unique, well-made, and just about any other positive adjective you can think of. It is a masterpiece. Legitimately the best RPG I have ever played. Granted, I haven't played many, but...
Well, I rather doubt it will be dethroned for a long time.
Just buy it. Play it. And good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck stopping.

Just buy it if you like dual-stick shooters. Or if you don't, because I don't but I enjoy the hell out of it. Just buy it. Extremely pretty but it somehow doesn't lag. One of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. And, most importantly, the gameplay is ULTRA SLICK. Download the demo, but I must warn you that the effort required to not buy the game immediately after playing the demo is... higher than I could muster, at least.

Also, why do so few people (on the leaderboards, at least) play as Peanut? Peanut's the best.

Ever played Bubble Tanks? Well, imagine a universe in which
1. It was Polygon Tanks instead of Bubble Tanks
2. The series continued past number 3
3. Number 3 didn't suck

This game is quite a lot like what Polygon Tanks 14 or so from this hypothetical universe would be like.

If you want a more detailed description, there are tons of other reviews which sum up everything about the game far better than I ever could. Basically, if you think there's a chance you might enjoy the game, just buy it.
There's only one thing that bothers me. There should be an option in the editor for auto-symmetry, a lot like... well, Bubble Tanks 3. Everything else about the editor is astonishingly intuitive, though.

GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY IT'S BEEN PICKED BACK UP

I haven't played the game in a long time at this point because the devs suddenly abandoned it about a year ago. But it apparently has been bought by another developer and is no longer dead as ♥♥♥♥! Yay!
I remember loving the game before it died. The specifics of why I loved it are a bit hazy after all this time, but it was definitely a great game.

A warning, though: Judging by the news posts from the new developer, they're still working on ironing out server issues and fixing millions of bugs dating back to the old developers. If you can't stand servers that aren't at absolute peak performance, maybe wait a month or two before playing this game.

It was a very ambitious project in its originally-planned form. It sounded like it would be fantastic. The devs had excellent ideas for features and it really seemed like they planned to add them.
But then development slowed. The vast majority of planned features never got implemented. They were not, to my knowledge, officially scrapped, but never implemented. Then one day, the devs apparently decided they were fed up with actually developing and they announced that the clearly unfinished game was finished.
As you can see if you read my other reviews, I'm usually pretty lenient. But this is ridiculous and intolerable.
The game's fun for maybe an hour or two, I guess, but if you ever had even the slightest shadow of an idea as to what they planned, don't buy it. You will be immensely disappointed.

A surprisingly fun game. Like... really fun. It kind of feels like an early access title in a way I can't really put into words, but it feels like a good paid early access title. My only complaint is that there's too little content, but given that the description states that there are six ships to pilot and I've seen nine in stores, more content may still be added.

EDIT: I have just found out that it's open source, so I guess you can click the website button on the right and even add stuff yourself (in your own copy), if you know Java.

Wait, this game's free now?
Honestly, there's no reason not to play it, then. It was easily worth what it cost before.
It's not necessarily the kind of game you put hundreds of hours into or can't wait to get back to playing, but it's definitely a lot of fun.

You know those promises made by every early access game producer?

"We'll update every [relatively short time]!"
"We'll include these things before release!"
"We'll actually listen to people!"

Well guess what?
The Space Engineers devs really do update the game every week. And that's not just patches. They actually add content every week. I don't know how, but they do. If they say they will include a feature, you can probably expect it within the month. They are a bit notorious for simply deleting posts on their forums complaining about the game (or at least they were when I last went on there over a year ago), but they apparently actually listen if you have a polite suggestion. This development pattern is basically what all early access games WISH they could even pretend to have.

Oh, and it sure as hell doesn't hurt that the game itself is also great.

Nice gameplay and absolutely fantastic soundtrack. Pretty standard breakout game with a couple added features. I don't really have much more to say.

Oh right, the eighth boss is made entirely of death and the tears of orphans. The rest of the bosses are alright, though.

This is the worst game I have ever had the misfortune of owning... and yet I can't stop playing it.

OK, in all seriousness, it's pretty fun, but it is SOUL-SHATTERINGLY difficult. You will not win on your first playthrough. You will likely never win.
Judging by how rare ammo is in this MILITARY COMPOUND, you'd think it was made of gold or something.

So if you can't handle a 99.1% chance of never winning (no, I'm serious), then don't buy this game. If you really like having rare achievements and are willing to put vast amounts of practice and effort into a game to get them, then go for it.

Also, it's free on the Humble Bundle store for the next two days, if I remember correctly.
